Traveling to Costa Rica
On February 21, 2026 participants will fly from various cities in the United States to Liberal Guangaste Airport (LIR). A bus or van will transport participants from the airport to the hotel. Departure for home will be on February 28, 2026 for 7 night stay attendees.

Behaviorist - 10 CE hours
Dr. Lisa Radosta is a board-certified veterinary behaviorist dedicated to enhancing thehuman-animal bond through compassionate, science-based care. After earning her DVM from the University of Florida and completing a behavioral medicine residency at the University of Pennsylvania, she founded Florida Veterinary Behavior Service in 2007. With a wealth of experience, she has contributed to leading veterinary textbooks, scientific journals, and major media outlets, including Nat Geo Wild and Animal Planet. A sought-after speaker, Dr. Radosta lectures nationally and internationally, sharing her expertise on pet behavior with veterinarians, pet owners, and industry professionals. She also serves on the Fear Free Executive Council and is a key contributor to advancing behavioral medicine in veterinary practice.
Chris Snyder, DVM, DAVDC, DEVDC
Dentistry - 10 CE hours
Chris Snyder is a Diplomate of the American Veterinary Dental College and the EuropeanVeterinary Dental College. He is currently a Clinical Professor and the Associate Dean for Clinical Affairs and Hospital Director at the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Veterinary Medicine. He has been recognized as a Founding Fellow, AVDC Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Dr. Snyder has authored journal articles, textbook chapters and has lectured nationally and internationally. He prides himself on the dentistry and oral surgery education he provides to students at the University of Wisconsin and the residents he has successfully mentored in the specialty. Dr. Snyder’s academic and research interests include maxillofacial trauma and reconstruction, oral surgery and creating innovative techniques in veterinary dental education.
