    Garret Pachtinger / ECC / 10 CE hrs

    Dr. Garret Pachtinger, DACVECC is a board-certified veterinary specialist in emergency critical care. Dr. Pachtinger graduated from the University of Pennsylvania Veterinary School. He then pursued an internship at the Matthew J. Ryan Veterinary Hospital at the University of Pennsylvania. In addition, he has also completed an emergency fellowship and residency at the Matthew J Ryan Veterinary Hospital at the University of Pennsylvania. For 15 years he was a clinician at a large, multispecialty hospital outside of Philadelphia, Pa as a leader in the ER and Critical Care Unit. During this time, he was also the hospital trauma center medical director, the ER specialty internship medical director and then the House Officer Program Director for BluePearl Veterinary Partners. Dr. Pachtinger has been published in numerous veterinary journals, textbooks, and peer reviewed learning tools and is on the editorial board of Today’s Veterinary Practice. Dr. Pachtinger lectures throughout the world on emergency and critical care and is the Co-Founder and Director of Operations for VETgirl, the number 1 online CE resource for busy veterinary professionals.

    Matt Winter, DVM, DACVR / Radiology / 10 CE hrs

    Dr. Winter is a diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Radiology. He graduated from the Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1998. After 3 years of dairy, equine and small animal practice, he completed a residency in Diagnostic Imaging at the Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University. As faculty at the Iowa State University (2004-2007) and the University of Florida (2007-present), Dr. Winter has a demonstrated passion for teaching and for veterinary education. He won the Gentle Doctor Award at Iowa State, theSuperior Accomplishment Award at the University of Florida where he also served as medical director, and numerous teaching awards for basic science and clinical instruction. In 2016-17, he served as the Executive Vice President of Veterinary Education at the North American Veterinary Community (NAVC). He is currently the Chief Veterinary Medical Officer for Veterinary Consultants in Telemedicine, a global teleradiology and telemedicine company, and continues to serve as Clinical Associate Professor of Diagnostic Imaging at the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Winter has delivered invited lectures on diagnostic imaging around the world.
